Festival

The 2024 Minot Prairie Quilt Festival is over, and I want to thank everyone who was involved in our Festival.

Thank you to everyone who took classes or lectures, to our vendors, those who put quilts in our quilt show, our volunteers, and our excellent teachers.

Mark Darrell and Andrew Lee were delightful.

It was great seeing our Canadian quilting friends again.

The Banquet was a lot of fun and the Quilts of Valor presentation was a very moving way to close our Festival.

THANK YOU!!

Grand Hotel Information Update:
We want to pass along some information regarding the Grand Hotel during our Minot Prairie Quilt Festival.
We have been told the Grand Hotel which is under new management will be doing renovations during our Festival.  The restaurant and lounge will be closed.  Our meals will be coming from their catering kitchen.
In addition, they will be painting the main lobby and will be closing the main stairs to the lower level.
An elevator is available to the lower level classrooms and there is another set of stairs to the west we can also use to get to the lower level.
We have also been told some of the rooms will not have cable TV.  Please check with the hotel to see if your room will have cable or not.
We will have a wonderful Festival, and hope everyone will work with us, regardless of these disruptions.

See you in a few days!!
